Did you perform the lighting diagnostic system check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Place the headlamp and IP dimmer switch in the HEAD position.
2. Place the headlamp dimmer switch in the high beam position.
3. Observe the high beam indicator.

Does the high beam indicator illuminate?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

Do the high beam headlamps illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Headlamps Inoperative - High Beams

Test for an open or high resistance in the high beam control circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Replace the IPC. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.

Important: Perform the set up procedure for the IP.

Did you complete the replacement and the set up procedure?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
