DEFINITION:

The Rear Seat Audio (RSA) L.E.D. power indicator is always on.

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Radio/Audio System

1. Turn the ignition to accessory.
2. Turn the radio on.
3. Observe the power indicator L.E.D. on the Rear Seat Audio (RSA ) control.

Is the power indicator off?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

Press the power button on the rear seat audio control.

Did the power indicator turn off?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Test the radio rear seat audio control enable circuit for a short to battery voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 5

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
