Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

Inspect for a short to B+ on CKT 8.

Is there a short?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Repair a short to B+ on CKT 8.
2. Inspect the system.

Is the symptom still present?

Go to Step  5

1. Replace the headlamp and instrument panel (IP) lamp dimmer switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement .
2. Inspect the system.

Is the symptom still present?

Go to Step  5

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
