Removal Procedure
- Remove the indicator.
- Remove the left windshield wiper linkage.
- Remove the fluid filler tube nut (1).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the fluid filler tube bracket bolt (2).
- Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the fluid filler tube seal (3).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the fluid filler tube.
Installation Procedure
- Position the fluid filler tube.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Install the fluid filler tube seal (3).
- Install the fluid filler tube.
- Install the fluid filler tube bolt (2).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the fluid filler tube nut (1).
- Install the indicator.
- Adjust the fluid level as necessary. Refer to the following information.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the fluid filler tube bolt to 13 N·m (115 lb in).

Tighten the fluid filler tube nut to 13 N·m (115 lb in).
