BOOMING NOISE WITH HATCH ROOF REMOVED

VEHICLES AFFECTED: ALL VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AN AD3 REMOVABLE OR CF5 SLIDING SUNROOF SOME VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A SUNROOF MAY EXPERIENCE A 'BOOMING' TYPE NOISE INSIDE THE CAR WITH SUNROOF OPEN AND THE WINDOWS ROLLED UP. THE NOISE IF DUE TO AN AIR PRESSURE DIFFERENCE CREATED BETWEEN THE OUTSIDE AIR AND THE AIR INSIDE THE CAR, WHEN THE VEHICLE IS MOVING. ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A SLIDING SUNROOF, THE NOISE MAY BE REDUCED BY SLIGHTLY OPENING ANY WINDOW, WHICH ALLOWS THE PRESSURE EQUALIZE. ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A SLIDING SUNROOF, THE NOISE MAY BE REDUCED BY EITHER SLIGHTLY OPENING ANY WINDOW OR BY SLIGHTLY CLOSING THE SUNROOF PANEL.
