The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

DIC and/or radio inoperative after servicing IP.

Check the DIC and radio C2 connectors to make sure that they have not been swapped. The DIC and the radio use the same connector and the length and location of the harness allows for the connectors to be swapped. To confirm the connectors are in the correct location, refer to the connector end views in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console Connector End Views and Entertainment Connector End Views in Service Information.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
