Condition
Some customers may comment that the driver seat power lumbar support is inoperative.
Cause
This condition may be due to the motor cable spring pulling through its attachment on the lumbar support basket.
Correction
DO NOT replace the entire seat back frame assembly for this condition.
Replace the power lumbar support assembly. Refer to the Front Seat Lumbar Replacement procedure in SI (Document ID 1544925). If the retainers become damaged during removal, then hog rings can be used.
