Removal Procedure

    Important: When removing any switch , the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch when using a metal tool to remove the switch from the wiring harness.

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.

    2. Object Number: 858100 Size: SH
  2. Disengage the electrical connector from the rear compartment lid switch (1).
  3. Using a small, flat-bladed tool, remove the lid switch from the mounting bezel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 858100 Size: SH
  1. Press the rear compartment lid switch (1) into the mounting bezel.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the switch.
  3. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.
