Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1230633 Size: SH
  1. Open the fuel filler door.
  2. Remove the fuel filler cap.
  3. Remove the fuel filler pocket screws (1) from the pocket.

    4. Object Number: 1230635 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fuel filler pocket (1) from the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 1230659 Size: SH
  5. Drill out the rivets (1) from the fuel filler door hinge.

    6. Object Number: 1230662 Size: SH
  6. Remove the fuel filler door from the quarter panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1230662 Size: SH
  1. Position the fuel filler door to the quarter panel.

    2. Object Number: 1230659 Size: SH
  2. Install the rivets (1) to the fuel filler door hinge.

    3. Object Number: 1230635 Size: SH
  3. Install the fuel filler pocket (1) to the quarter panel.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1230633 Size: SH
  4. Install the fuel filler pocket screws (1) to the pocket.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  5. Install the fuel filler cap.
  6. Close the fuel filler door.
