Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1553067 Size: MH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Using a suitable jack, support the exhaust system.
  3. Remove the exhaust pipe from the exhaust pipe hanger (single/dual exhaust).

    4. Object Number: 1553070 Size: MH
  4. Remove the muffler from the exhaust pipe hanger (single exhaust).

    5. Object Number: 1553072 Size: MH
  5. Remove the muffler from the exhaust pipe hanger (dual exhaust).

    6. Object Number: 1553083 Size: MH
  6. Remove the muffler from the exhaust pipe hanger (dual exhaust with RPO Z7T, left side).

    7. Object Number: 1553086 Size: MH
  7. Remove the muffler from the exhaust pipe hanger (dual exhaust with RPO Z7T, right side).

    8. Object Number: 1553089 Size: SH
  8. Remove the side exhaust pipe hanger(s) (1).

    9. Object Number: 1553091 Size: SH
  9. Remove the rear exhaust pipe hanger(s).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1553091 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear exhaust pipe hanger(s).

    2. Object Number: 1553089 Size: SH
  2. Install the side exhaust pipe hanger(s) (1).

    3. Object Number: 1553086 Size: MH
  3. Install the muffler to the exhaust pipe hanger (dual exhaust with RPO Z7T, right side).

    4. Object Number: 1553083 Size: MH
  4. Install the muffler to the exhaust pipe hanger (dual exhaust with RPO Z7T, left side).

    5. Object Number: 1553072 Size: MH
  5. Install the muffler to the exhaust pipe hanger (dual exhaust).

    6. Object Number: 1553070 Size: MH
  6. Install the muffler to the exhaust pipe hanger (single exhaust).

    7. Object Number: 1553067 Size: MH
  7. Install the exhaust pipe to the exhaust pipe hanger (single/dual exhaust).
  8. Remove the support from the exhaust system.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
