Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 911163 Size: SH
  1. Remove the catalytic converter (3). Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
  2. If equipped with regular production option (RPO) L26/L32, remove and discard the exhaust manifold pipe gasket (1).

    3. Object Number: 1553053 Size: SH
  3. If equipped with RPO LS4, remove and discard the exhaust manifold pipe gasket (1).

    4. Object Number: 1553050 Size: SH
  4. Remove and discard the catalytic converter to muffler gasket (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1553050 Size: SH
  1. Install a NEW catalytic converter to muffler gasket (2).

    2. Object Number: 1553053 Size: SH
  2. If equipped with RPO LS4, install a NEW exhaust manifold pipe gasket (1).

    3. Object Number: 911163 Size: SH
  3. If equipped with RPO L26/L32, install a NEW exhaust manifold pipe gasket (1).
  4. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
