Removal Procedure
- Raise the head restraint
(4) to the full-up position.
- Insert a small rounded tool (2) such as an allen wrench into the
hole in the guide (1) assembly in order to release the lock tabs.
- Remove the head restraint from the seat back (3).
- Use the following procedure to remove the two support rods from
the head restraint:
| • | Firmly grasp each rod and rotate it 90 degrees. |
| • | Pull the rods out of the head restraint. |
Installation Procedure
- With the notches facing the front, push the support rods fully
into the head restraint.
- Install the head restraint
(1) from the seat back (3).
- Push the head restraint to the full-down position.
- Raise the head restraint in order to ensure that the restraint
stops at the detent.
- Return the head restraint to the original position.
