Removal Procedure
  1. Pull down and reposition the front door weatherstrip in order to gain access to the applique screws.

    2. Object Number: 315650 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws from the front door frame applique.
  3. Remove the front door frame applique from the front door.

Installation Procedure

    Important: Protect the applique with heavy material tape to avoid damaging underlying paint finish or applique.

  1. Install the front door frame applique to the front door.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the screws to the front door frame molding.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front door frame applique screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the front door window weatherstrip.
