Removal Procedure

Up/Down or In/Out Adjustment

  1. Open the rear door.

  2. Object Number: 295133  Size: SH
  3. Loosen two 13 mm door side hinge bolts (1). Do not remove the bolts.
  4. Open the rear door.
  5. Adjust the door up or down by repositioning the door as needed.
  6. Adjust the door in or out by repositioning the door as needed.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Tighten the two 13 mm rear door side hinge bolts (1).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear door side hinge bolts (1) to 33 N·m (24 lb ft).

  3. Inspect the door for proper operation.

Removal Procedure

Fore/Aft Adjustment

  1. Loosen the two 13 mm body side hinge bolts (1). Do not remove them.
  2. Loosen one 10 mm cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (2).
  3. Adjust the door fore and aft by repositioning the door as needed.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.     Object Number: 308474  Size: SH
  1. Install the one 10 mm cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (2).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (2) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the 2 13 mm body side hinge bolts (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the body side hinge bolts to 33 N·m (24 lb ft).
