Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 630014  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disengage the speaker retainer. Lift the speaker upward slightly. Remove the speaker tabs from the openings in the rear window panel.
  3. Remove the up level rear speaker bolts, if equipped.
  4. Disengage the up level rear speaker tab from the rear window panel. Remove the up level rear speaker, if equipped.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the rear speaker(s).
  6. Remove the rear speaker(s).

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector(s) to the rear speaker(s).
  2. Engage the up level rear speaker tab to the rear window panel, if equipped.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the up level rear speaker bolts, if equipped.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the up level rear speaker bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Insert the speaker tabs to the openings in the rear window panel. Engage the speaker retainer.
  7. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
