Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 362096  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Loosen the rear of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the rear window antenna lead from the rear window antenna connector.
  4. Disconnect the antenna amplifier electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable.
  6. Remove the antenna amplifier bolt and the antenna amplifier.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the antenna amplifier and the antenna amplifier bolt.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna amplifier bolt to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the antenna coaxial cable.
  4. Connect the antenna amplifier electrical connector.
  5. Connect the rear window antenna lead to the rear window antenna connector.
  6. Secure the wiring harnesses to the rear window inner upper panel with tape.
  7. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  8. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
