Inspect the HEADLAMP circuit breaker.

Is the circuit breaker open?

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
  2. Using a test light, backprobe between C201 terminal E13 and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 8

Using a test light, backprobe between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal L and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Using a test light, backprobe between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal N to ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Replace the headlamp switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement .

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 2440.

Has the repair been made?

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 10 between the headlamp switch harness connector terminal L and C201 terminal E13.

Replace the headlamp dimmer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.
