  1. Disconnect the instrument cluster head-up display (HUD) harness connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Set the turn signal switch to the right turn position.
  4. Use a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) in order to measure the voltage between the instrument cluster HUD harness connector terminal B8 and ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

9-14 Volts

  1. Disconnect the harness connector C201.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Set the turn signal switch to the right turn position.
  4. Use a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) in order to measure the voltage between the harness connector C201 terminal A6 and ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

9-14 Volts

  1. Repair the open in CKT 15 between the instrument cluster HUD dimmer switch harness connector terminal B7 and harness connector C201 terminal A6.
  2. Inspect the system.

  1. Replace the instrument cluster head-up display (HUD). Refer to Head Up Display Module Replacement .
  2. Inspect the system.
