Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the electrical connection at the inside air temperature sensor.

    4. Object Number: 176925 Size: SH
  4. Remove the inside air temperature sensor; disconnect it from the aspirator duct.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 176925 Size: SH

    Important:  Ensure the inside air temperature sensor is sealed to the instrument panel cluster trim plate in order prevent sampling the air behind the dash.

  1. Install the inside air temperature sensor to the aspirator duct.

    2. Ensure that the duct is connected at the module.

  2. Connect the electrical connector for the inside air sensor.
  3. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
