Removal Procedure

  1. Open the console storage lid.
  2. Ensure the cup holder is in the open position.

  3. Object Number: 289504  Size: SH
  4. Remove the front floor console trim plate bolts.
  5. Remove the front floor console trim plate.
  6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the traction control switch.

  7. Object Number: 289505  Size: SH
  8. Remove the traction control switch from the front floor console trim plate.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 289505  Size: SH
  1. Install the traction control switch to the front floor console trim plate.
  2. Connect the wiring harness to the traction control switch.

  3. Object Number: 289504  Size: SH

    Important: The cup holder must be in the open position in order to install the front floor console trim plate.

  4. Install the front floor console trim plate.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the front floor console trim plate bolts.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the front floor console trim plate bolts to 2 N·m (14 lb in).

  8. Close the console storage lid.
