The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Vehicle may exhibit a no park or no reverse concern, a creep forward in neutral or a hard to shift concern.
Dealer may find manual valve binding in the channel plate (case cover) due to a burr in the valve bore. The manual valve clip may be broken and/or the link bent.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Replace channel plate (case cover) and manual valve with valve clip and link.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
