Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 887230  Size: SH
  1. Position the front seat forward in order to gain access to the seat adjuster bolts (1).
  2. Remove the bolts (1) from the back of the adjuster (3).
  3. On the driver side disconnect the seat belt wiring harness.
  4. Disconnect the power seat electrical connector, if equipped.
  5. Place the seat back in a full recline position.
  6. Manually tilt the seat assembly at an angle to disengage the seat adjuster hooks adjuster from the floor pan.
  7. Remove the seat assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the seat into the vehicle.
  2. Align the seat adjuster hooks to the openings in the floor pan.
  3. Manually tilt the seat assembly at an angle in order to engage the hooks into the floor pan.
  4. Place the seat back in a full upright position.
  5. Connect the power seat electrical connector, if equipped.
  6. On the drivers side connect the seat belt wiring harness.
  7. Position the seat assembly forward in order to gain access to the adjuster bolts (1).
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the front seat adjuster bolts  (1).
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).
