Correction

DEFINITION: Adjuster will not unlock.

  • The locking wire is too loose or is disconnected.

Tighten the locking wire enough in order to allow the following actions to occur simultaneously:

    • The lock control lever activates.
    • The lock bar disengages from the locking slots in the adjuster lower channel.
  • The adjuster lock bar sticks or binds.
    • Lubricate the lock bar pivot.
    • Eliminate the cause of the binding. Replace the adjuster if the bar is binding.
