Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 607930  Size: SH
  1. Remove the guide cover from the front seat shoulder belt.
  2. Remove the guide bolt from the shoulder belt.
  3. Remove the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
  4. Pull out the door weatherstrip, if necessary.
  5. Remove enough of the rear lower quarter trim panel to access the upper trim panel.
  6. Start at the top of the upper trim panel. Pull the trim panel away from the quarter panel, disengaging the retaining clips.
  7. Remove the remainder of the trim panel from the quarter panel.
  8. Route the shoulder belt through the T slot in the trim panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 607930  Size: SH
  1. Route the seat belt through the T slot in the trim panel.
  2. Align the trim panel to the quarter panel.
  3. Press the trim panel into the quarter panel to engage the retaining clips.
  4. Reposition the lower quarter trim panel to a desired appearance.
  5. Install the door weatherstrips, if necessary.
  6. Install the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
  7. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  8. Install the guide bolt to the front seat shoulder belt.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).

  10. Install the guide cover to the front seat shoulder belt.

Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement Sedan

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 735862  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat bolster, if equipped. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement in Seats.
  2. Pull out the door weatherstrip, if necessary.
  3. Start at the top of the upper quarter trim panel. Pull the trim panel away from the quarter panel to disengage the retaining clips.
  4. Remove the remainder of the trim panel from the quarter panel.
  5. Route the shoulder belt through the T-slot in the trim panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 735862  Size: SH
  1. Route the shoulder belt through the T-slot in the trim panel.
  2. Align the trim panel to the quarter panel.
  3. Press the trim panel into the quarter panel to engage the retaining clips.
  4. Install the door weatherstrips, if necessary.
  5. Install the rear seat bolster, if equipped. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement in Seats.
