Removal Procedure
- Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Pull back the trunk carpeting away from the right side of the rear compartment trim in order to expose the sun roof drain hose outlet, refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
- Pull the sunroof drain hose outlet out of the quarter panel drain hole.
- Disconnect the outlet from the drain hose.
- Release the drain hose from the retaining clip along the quarter panel.
- Disconnect the drain hose from the rear sun roof drain port.
- Release the drain hose from the retaining clip along the rear pillar.
- Remove the rear drain hose through the rear compartment access hole, located between the seat belt retractor and the rear window.
Installation Procedure
- Install the drain hose into the rear compartment through the access hole.
- Press the drain hose into the retaining clip along the rear pillar.
- Connect the drain hose to the sun roof rear drain port.
- Press the drain hose into the retaining clip along the quarter panel.
- Connect the drain hose to the drain hose outlet.
- Press the drain hose outlet into the quarter panel drain hole.
- Check the drain hose for proper routing. Secure the drain hose to the quarter panel or roof with 3M™ double sided tape P/N 06377 or equivalent to prevent rattles.
- Position the rear compartment trim panel back in place.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
