Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 441761  Size: SH
  1. Ensure that the window is fully closed.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  5. Lower the window to the bottom of the door.
  6. Remove the lower bolt.
  7. Lift the channel to disconnect the upper fastener.
  8. Remove the front window channel (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 441761  Size: SH
  1. Position the front window channel (1) in the door, top end first.
  2. Insert the channel top retainer into the slot.
  3. Rotate the top of the front window channel rearward and align it on the lower edge of the window.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the rear door window channel lower bolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear door window channel lower bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Lift up the window and install the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  9. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
