Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check for the door systems?

Operate the power window switch.

Do the power windows operate correctly?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2. Disconnect the driver window switch.
3. Connect a test lamp between the ignition 3 positive voltage circuit of the driver window switch and a ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Connect a test lamp between the ignition 3 positive voltage circuit of the driver window switch and the ground circuit of the driver window switch. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 9

Inspect for a poor connection or for an open in the ignition 3 positive voltage circuit of the driver window switch. Refer to the following procedures in Wiring Systems:

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 7

Inspect for poor connections at the driver window switch. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and to Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 8

Repair the short to ground in the ignition 3 positive voltage circuit of the driver window switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 10

Replace the driver window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement - Left Side .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 10

Repair the poor connection or the open in the ground circuit of the driver window switch. Refer to the following procedures in Wiring Systems:

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
