Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 622135  Size: SH
  1. Remove the 2 front transmission mount bolts from the transmission.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  3. Object Number: 414963  Size: SH
  4. Position a jack and wood block under the transmission.

  5. Object Number: 622140  Size: SH
  6. Remove the through-bolt.

  7. Object Number: 471743  Size: SH
  8. Remove the 3 front bracket to cradle bolts.
  9. Remove the front bracket.

  10. Object Number: 622142  Size: SH
  11. Remove the front transmission mount lower bolt.
  12. Remove the transmission mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 622142  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the front transmission mount.
  2. Install the front transmission mount lower bolt.

    Tighten
    Tighten the transmission mount lower bolt to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).

  3. Install the front bracket.
  4. Install the 3  bracket to cradle bolts.

    Tighten
    Tighten the bracket to cradle bolts to 120 N·m (86 lb ft).


    Object Number: 622140  Size: SH
  5. Install the through-bolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the through-bolt to 130 N·m (96 lb ft).

  7. Remove the jack and block of wood from underneath the transmission.

  8. Object Number: 622135  Size: SH
  9. Install the 2 front transmission mount bolts to the transmission.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the front transmission mount bolts to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).

  11. Lower the vehicle.
