Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 331225  Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear cupholder to access the rear retaining screws.
  5. Remove the rear retaining screws.

  6. Remove the front retaining screws.
  7. Remove the console.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 331225  Size: SH
  1. Install the console.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the front screws to the IP Retainer and rear screws to the console bracket.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

    Tighten
    Tighten the rear screws to 7 N·m (61 lb in).

  5. Install the rear cupholder.
  6. Install the console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .
  7. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement .
