HEADLAMP BEZEL REMOVAL PROCEDURE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1986 Oldsmobile Calais

It has come to our attention that 1986 Calais headlamp bezels are being damaged during removal for lamp replacement. The following procedure should be used to remove the bezel:

1. Remove two (2) retaining screws at top of bezel.

2. Gently tip the top of the bezel forward enough to allow insertion of a flat bladed screwdriver. See Figure 1.

3. Position blade of screwdriver as shown in view A of Figure 1 and twist.
