LOCKING FUEL FILLER DOOR INOP. RELEASE CABLE EXPLAINED

BLOCKING FUEL FILLER DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-86 'N' - Models -----------------

If subject condition is encountered due to a discontinued release cable, the fuel filler door may be opened by using the following procedure.

1. Open deck lid and pull back the right quarter trim panel of the trunk.

2. Locate the fuel filler door release cable.

3. Grasp cable just behind grommet and pull rearward.
