1982-86 SUNDBIRD MODELS 1985-86 GRAND AM MODELS

The 1987 style center take-off power rack and pinion "short gears" will now be provided as a service replacement for most applications on 1982-86 Sunbird and 1985-86 Grand Am models.

To install the 19B7 style gear on prior year models, the short gear package will include one (1) 26000412 coupling assembly, one (1) 26001492 RH mounting grommet, and one (1) 22823112 line retainer. An instruction sheet will be included.

PAST MODEL RACK AND PINION SERVICE KITS WILL BE REPLACED BY 1987 SINGLE CYLINDER TUBE DESIGN SERVICE KITS.
