The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Cannot load CDs into replacement radio.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The replacement radios from Blaupunkt are shipped with 2 rubber shipping plugs to prevent damage to the radio during shipping. The shipping plugs are located on the top of the radio towards the rear of the radio. The rubber shipping plugs must be removed from the radio before the radio is installed or the radio will not accept any CDs.
Note: Due to the profile of the rubber shipping bumpers, it is possible to install the radio without removing them.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
