Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2006 🢒 GTO 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 6.0L 🢒 Engine Oil Level Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Drain the engine of oil.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the engine oil lever sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the drain plug.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the drain plug to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  2. Install the engine oil level sensor.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the drain plug to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  3. Reconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Refill the engine. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities.
