Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear side trim covers. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1724759 Size: SH
  2. Remove the 3 nuts (1) from the folding top rear latch.
  3. Remove the folding top rear latch (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the folding top rear latch (2) to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1724759 Size: SH
  2. Install the 3 nuts (1) to the folding top rear latch.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the rear side trim covers. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Ensure the rear compartment lid closes properly.
