Preliminary Procedures

1. Place the folding top in the service position. Refer to Folding Top Retainer Strap Installation Position .
2. Remove the sunshade on the right side.
3. Remove the right garnish pillar molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
4. Remove the upper garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
Mark the location of the guide with a grease pencil before removing.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)
