Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the right and left catalytic converters. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side.
3. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.

Rear Transmission Mount Thru Bolt

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

Remove the rear transmission mount for additional clearance. Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement.

Tighten
90 N·m (66 lb ft)

Rear Transmission Mount Bracket Fasteners (Qty: 3)

Tighten
50 N·m (37 lb ft)
