Caution: Remove all the air from the hydraulic brake system anytime the hydraulic brake system is opened for repair. The entire bleeding procedure must be followed. Failure to remove all the air in the hydraulic brake system will result in reduced braking performance and possible personal injury.

Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor Electrical Connector

Procedure

Thoroughly clean the area around the brake fluid pressure sensor of any dirt or foreign material.

Procedure

  1. After the installation is complete, bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. DO NOT start the engine.
  3. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
  4. Tighten
    17 N·m (13 lb ft)
