Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement Sedan
Removal Procedure
- Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
- Partially remove the front door weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement .
- Remove the cover from the garnish trim fasteners.
- Remove the garnish trim fasteners.
- Starting at the top, remove the windshield garnish trim by pulling straight out.
Installation Procedure
- Starting at the bottom, install the windshield garnish trim.
- Install the garnish trim fastener.
- Install the cover to the garnish trim fastener.
- Install the front door weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement .
- Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 3 N·m (26 lb in).
