Removal Procedure
- Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement.
- Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) vapor line quick connect fittings from the fuel sender. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
- Disconnect the EVAP vapor line quick connect fitting at the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
- Cap or plug the EVAP connections and the fuel sender and canister in order to prevent system contamination.
- Remove the EVAP vapor line from the fuel tank.
Installation Procedure
- Remove the EVAP vapor line from the fuel tank.
- Remove the caps or plugs from the EVAP vapor line connections.
- Connect the EVAP vapor line quick connect fittings at the fuel sender. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
- Connect the EVAP vapor line quick connect fitting at the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
- Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement.
