Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1578457 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.

    2. Object Number: 1581065 Size: SH
  2. Using a tamper proof TORX®, remove the MAF/IAT sensor screws.
  3. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1581065 Size: SH
  1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor.
  2. Using a tamper proof TORX®, install the MAF/IAT sensor screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 0.6 N·m (5 lb in).

  3. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector.
