Removal Procedure

    Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned. To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Support the transaxle with a suitable stand.

  3. Object Number: 1580045  Size: SH
  4. Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt nut (1).
  5. Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt (2).

  6. Object Number: 1580043  Size: SH
  7. Remove the transaxle mount-to-transaxle attachment bolts (1).
  8. Remove the transaxle mount (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1580043  Size: SH
  1. Install the transaxle mount (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the transaxle mount bolts (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the transaxle mount through bolt (2).
  6. Install the transaxle mount through bolt nut (1).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).

  8. Remove the transaxle stand.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
