Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling and SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Move the seat full forward.

    3. Object Number: 1219154 Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat belt anchor from the front seat assembly.

    4. Object Number: 873511 Size: SH
  4. Remove the front seat mounting fasteners and tilt the seat forward.
  5. Disconnect the electrical wire harness and remove the push-in fastener from beneath the seat.
  6. Remove the seat.

Installation Procedure
  1. Perform the front seat track synchronization. Refer to Front Seat Track Synchronization .
  2. Install the seat into the vehicle.

    3. Object Number: 873511 Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical wire harness and install the push-in fastener beneath the seat.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the front seat mounting fasteners.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1219154 Size: SH

    Important: Verify that the shoulder belt is not twisted.

  5. Install the seat belt anchor to the front seat assembly.
  6. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling and SIR Disabling and Enabling .
