Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2006 🢒 G6 🢒 Body 🢒 Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console 🢒 HVAC Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the HVAC control module screws.

    3. Object Number: 1203599 Size: SH
  3. Remove the HVAC control module.
  4. Remove the HVAC control module wire harness connectors.

Installation Procedure

    Important: The key should be in the OFF position when connecting the electrical connectors to ensure proper calibration.

  1. Install the HVAC control module wire harness connectors.

    2. Object Number: 1203599 Size: SH
  2. Install the HVAC control module.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Tighten the HVAC control module screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    5. Important: Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control module while the HVAC control module is calibrating. If interrupted improper HVAC performance will result.

  5. Start the engine and let run for one minute.
  6. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
