Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Eye Protection Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Folding Top Hydraulic Pressure Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Servicing Electrical Components Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Place the folding top in the up position.
  2. Open the rear compartment.
  3. Remove the right side compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side .
  4. Remove the 2 nuts that attach the control module to the pump bracket.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the control module.

    6. Object Number: 1631712 Size: SH
  6. Remove the control module from the pump bracket.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the control module to the pump bracket.

    2. Object Number: 1631712 Size: SH
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the control module.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the 2 nuts that attach the control module to the pump bracket.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  4. Install the side compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side .
  5. Close the rear compartment.
  6. Inspect the folding top for proper operation.
  7. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
