Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement.
2. Remove the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement.
3. Disconnect the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner housing. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
