Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the steering column opening filler assembly. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement.
  2. Tilt the steering wheel up.

Instrument Panel Trim

Tip

    • Release the left-hand instrument panel (I/P) trim plate assembly by pulling away from the I/P retainer.
    • Disconnect the I/P dimmer switch and, if equipped, the fog lamp switch.
