Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the under the hood electrical center bracket. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Bracket Replacement .
3. Remove the vacuum booster check valve. Refer to Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve and/or Hose Replacement .
4. Remove the brake master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .
5. Remove the steering column filler. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .

Vacuum Booster Mounting Bolt (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
Finger tighten the mounting bolts before torquing them to specifications.

Tighten
17 N·m (14 lb ft)

DO NOT re-use the seal if damaged. Replace with NEW.
