Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 1999 🢒 Firefly (Canada) 🢒 Restraints 🢒 SIR 🢒 Enabling the SIR System

    Object Number: 222647 Size: SH
  1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  2. Connect the connectors (1) and lock the connector with the connector lock lever.

    3. Object Number: 222282 Size: SH
  3. Install the yellow connector assembly (1) to the IP compartment opening.

    4. Object Number: 222647 Size: SH
  4. Close the IP compartment.
  5. Connect the steering wheel module connectors (1) and lock the connector with the connector lock lever.

    6. Object Number: 222277 Size: SH
  6. Install the steering wheel module connector behind the steering wheel side cap and replace the side cap.
  7. Install the AIR BAG Fuse to the junction block (3).
  8. Staying well away from both air bags, turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Verify that the AIR BAG warning lamp flashes seven times and then stays OFF. If the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described, refer to SIR Diagnostic System Check .
