Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 441398  Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Support the vehicle with safety stands.
  3. Support the transmission with a transmission stand.
  4. Remove the transmission mount nut (2).

  5. Object Number: 441395  Size: SH
  6. Remove the transmission support bolts (2).
  7. Remove the transmission support (1).

  8. Object Number: 33323  Size: SH
  9. Remove the transmission mount bolts.
  10. Remove the transmission mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 33323  Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission mount.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the transmission mount bolts
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the transmission mount bolts to 48 N·m (36 lb ft).

  5. Install the transmission support (1).
  6. Install the transmission support bolts (2).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the transmission support bolts (2) to 57 N·m (43 lb ft).

  8. Install the transmission mount nut (2).
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the transmission mount nut (2) to 57 N·m (43 lb ft).

  10. Remove the support from the transmission.
  11. Remove the vehicle safety stands.
  12. Lower the vehicle.
